We created Guliwer Café-Bistro with all those in mind who are looking for a place near Kraków’s Rynek Główny where they can drink good coffee and good wine, and have breakfast or a light lunch. Wonderful Vergnano coffee, real and thick hot chocolate, as well as our homemade cheesecake, apple or lemon meringue pie, our famous crème brulée or seasonal dessert of the day straight from the oven – all these continue to win new aficionados.
Our specialty is wine which we import from several regions of the world, selecting limited series of the best wines from various countries. Order a glass, or a carafe at very affordable prices (even on a student budget), or choose a bottle from our extensive wine list.
Throughout the day we serve salads, panini, and appetizers. At lunchtime we offer great soups, vegetarian and fish selections, and, above all, our culinary specialty – something hot and meaty, exotic and satiating from Guliwer’s Pot. There is something different every day: chulent, choucroute, makluba, etc.
Guliwer Café-Bistro is the perfect choice for those who want to take a break from work or classes, who want to drink a cup of coffee or grab a quick lunch while checking their e-mails (we are a hotspot!). It is a great place to go after the philharmonic, an art show opening, the theatre, or the cinema.
